Meet Jonathan

Jonathan Chicas is a professional boxer with a  record of 15-3 7kos. He was born and raised in San Francisco, and started boxing when he was 15 years old. Chicas has fought on major networks like ESPN and is a BKB World Champion.

Chicas started boxing in high school. After two months he fell in love with it.

He always wanted to box, but felt like it might be out of reach because of expense and didn’t know where to go.

At the time, he felt like he was hanging around the wrong crowd and getting into trouble, until he became consistent with boxing.

He met Ben Bautista, who told him he would take him on for a one week trial to see if they could work together.

If he lasted through a one week trial, he would take him to his cousin’s boxing gym. After Chicas proved himself, he took him to the gym, and then went on to become his mentor.

From there, he got into the pro game, and the rest is history.

Chicas now offers his skills and almost two decades of expertise in boxing to his students.

I feel very fortunate for the opportunity to do boxing training with Jonathan Chicas, a talented professional boxer.
